Boat Rental Terms and Directives (For the Renter)

I. Responsibility and Damages

  1. Full Responsibility: You are responsible for any damage or injury sustained by you and your companions during the rental period. Your companions are under your full responsibility, with no liability whatsoever falling upon the Lessor.

  2. Returning the Vessel: You must return the marine vessel to the rental location at the agreed-upon time, and pay the value of any excess time immediately.

  3. Vessel Handover: Do not hand over the marine vessel to any other person during the contract period; you will be held responsible for this.

II. Safety and Compliance

  1. Coast Guard Laws: Comply and abide by the regulations and laws of the Coast Guard and marine safety systems for yourself and those with you.

  2. Local Regulations: You must adhere to all common regulations, traditions, and ethics recognized in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

  3. ID Presentation (Outside Sharm Abhur): If the marine trip is outside Sharm Abhur, present the identity documents of all passengers to the Coast Guard center.

  4. Safety Instructions: Receive all safety equipment and life jackets, and adhere to safety instructions. You personally bear any responsibility resulting from non-compliance.

  5. Lost Life Jacket Fine: In case of losing any life jacket, pay a fine of 100 SAR for each lost jacket.

  6. Prohibitions: It is strictly forbidden to take hunting firearms on marine trips.

  7. Official Responsibility: In case of presenting different personal identification, you bear full responsibility before official authorities.

III. Cancellation, Amendment, and Finances

  1. Incomplete Trip: You do not have the right to claim a refund for any amount in case of failure to complete the trip.

  2. Renter’s Cancellation: Be aware that in case of trip cancellation by you, no prepaid amount will be refunded.

  3. Company Cancellation: Be aware that the Company has the right to cancel or postpone the trip according to Coast Guard instructions or marina management directives without referring to you.

  4. Schedule Amendments:

    • You are not entitled to amend the confirmed trip date less than 48 hours before execution.

    • For amendment requests outside this period, pay an amount equivalent to 25% of the contract value for each requested amendment, after verifying the possibility of the change.

Refund Policy (Your Rights and Obligations)

Condition Action / Compensation
Marine vessel breakdown and failure to depart from the marina. You will be compensated with an alternative trip.
Trip prohibition by the Coast Guard (due to weather, security, or safety). You will be compensated with an alternative trip.
Requesting a refund for any reason related to the customer after paying the value or part of it. You are not entitled to request a refund (due to costs of trip preparation and reservation).

Environmental Directives (Mandatory)

  1. Sea Cleanliness: Keep the sea clean. Do not throw garbage or plastic materials into the water.

  2. Waste Disposal: Dispose of waste properly using recycling and general waste bins inside the marina.

  3. Oil Pollution: In case of any oil spill, notify the marina management immediately.

  4. Marine Life: Do not approach or disturb marine creatures.
